On 16th March, Jose Mauro Bertolini, Commercial Director of Bimeda Brazil, was pleased to participate a roundtable event in São Paulo with Minister Eamon Ryan.
Minister Ryan is Ireland’s Minister for the Environment, Climate, Communications and Transport, and was visiting Brazil as part of Ireland’s St Patrick’s Day festival activities.
Minister Ryan hosted a number of Irish organisations which have successfully established themselves in Brazil, and the event was a celebration of Irish-Brazilian collaboration. The event also focused heavily on the ESG activities of the organisations in attendance, and Jose Mauro was proud to present Bimeda’s sustainability program.
Jose Mauro highlighted the role that animal health companies such as Bimeda have played in increasing animal health and productivity, and contributing to food security for a growing global population.
Founded in Ireland in 1960, Bimeda now has a global presence, with products sold in over 80 countries worldwide. Bimeda established a direct presence in Brazil in 2011 and offers a broad range of veterinary pharmaceuticals and animal health products to this important market, as well as manufacturing for export within LATAM.
